Jonathan Gilliam
Bio
Jonathan Gilliam has extensive experience with a wide range of architectural projects spanning in size from Kitchen & Bath Remodels to Multi-Thousand square foot custom homes. He has designed homes all across Los Angeles County including Burbank, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Malibu and has developed a special expertise in the design and construction of hillside homes. In the last decade, Jonathan has become a recognized expert in design, documentation, and permitting for Single Family residences.
A graduate of the USC School of Architecture & the UCLA School of Architecture & Urban Design, Jonathan began his career working on very large scale international retail projects. In 2009, Jonathan moved into the custom residential sector and has notably worked on several AIA award winning projects. His work experience as a licensed architect has given him a broad knowledge of every aspect of building construction, planning, execution, and handling of multiple projects simultaneously.
Jonathan excels at helping clients visualize the scale and flow of spaces in the home in balance with actual site conditions. He understands that every owner has a unique vision of living in their home and is passionate about translating their vision into a workable design. He founded Gilliam Arch in 2019 so he could focus on bringing each and every client a personal and customized home design experience. His goal is for his clients to enjoy the process almost as much as their completed project!
